From Fire by Fire - WIP

WIP of Northrop, my flaming faun. The background I have planned at the moment is a sky turtle migration. I don't know if the colours are going to look really odd- I'm working on a brand new monitor, which shows me things I've never seen before in my old works. And they're not usually good things. -___-;;;

I've slipped into the nasty habit of drawing really generic faces lately. Although originally it began as a bid to stop drawing -really- ugly faces, now they're just wholly unremarkable animu faces. Gross. I'm going to have to work on that.

This is supposed to be underground.

I liked the monochromatic version better. :b Not really satisfied with the result, I may have to do it over depending on how its recieved.

new everything

I got a new scanner! I can finally scan my pencils again. Speaking of new things, the keyboard and computer are also new. Today is an excellent day.

Lineart for a kiriban. So I finally learned how to make crisp lineart in Photoshop- increase resolution to 4000-5000 px. ALL THIS TIME I couldn't figure out why my lines in Photoshop looked blurry. Too bad my computer can't handle files of that size. Though for stand alone images with no concrete deadline, I'll risk it.

Lately I've mostly been colouring comics, though I've found a little time to do lineart. I really want to feed my Tales of Vesperia addiction. My sweet game has been sadly neglected these past couple months.
