WIP of a long, long overdue kiriban. I think the user won it over a year ago, haha. The background is referenced heavily from a Diablo III concept art of New Tristram. There's something about the atmosphere of that concept that fascinates me endlessly.. It's even my desktop image.

I'm so excited for D3 to come out. It might even take me away from Starcraft II. I really want to do a Zerg fanart in the Xel'naga Caverns (my favourite map.. except for maybe Metalopolis or Shakuras Plateau).

Bakuman's the only manga I really follow nowadays. So fuelled by a rage to do more character CG, I doodled Eiji's crow.. which then exploded into this random poster of Eiji, PCP, and Saiko. I wanted to stick Tagaki in there too, but it wouldn't fit. So that's just an excuse to draw him and Saiko again. I kinda want to do a crazy group shot of Hiramaru, Aoki, Fukada, and all those other crazy Jump authors.

The second image is Ariel from DT. Remade the Chapter 2 cover. Lineart is by Kern, colouring by me.

I JUST learned how to use gradient maps.. ;A; I had tried once in the past, but I couldn't figure out how to really get them to work, until I hit the 'reverse' option this morning. Ahaha. This way of colourizing sketches is so much easier.

Nearly able to draw my own things again, just 5 more pages and I'm freeee! 8D Today I slacked off a little and doodled a headshot of Lucan.

I really want to do Kuroshitsuji fanart. Grell x Undertaker. Although Grell's obsession with Sebas is amusing. I've experienced both the manga and anime, the latter is what made me love this pair. I nearly died laughing when the crazy chainsaw death god stripped down the poor Undertaker and stuck him in a salt barrel. "I love the sensation of moisture seeping out of my skin." d'awww. They're both so dysfunctional, it just works.

WIP of Northrop, my flaming faun. The background I have planned at the moment is a sky turtle migration. I don't know if the colours are going to look really odd- I'm working on a brand new monitor, which shows me things I've never seen before in my old works. And they're not usually good things. -___-;;;

I've slipped into the nasty habit of drawing really generic faces lately. Although originally it began as a bid to stop drawing -really- ugly faces, now they're just wholly unremarkable animu faces. Gross. I'm going to have to work on that.

Lineart for a kiriban. So I finally learned how to make crisp lineart in Photoshop- increase resolution to 4000-5000 px. ALL THIS TIME I couldn't figure out why my lines in Photoshop looked blurry. Too bad my computer can't handle files of that size. Though for stand alone images with no concrete deadline, I'll risk it.

A small clip from my SS. I've been trying to learn how to CG in a slightly more mainstream method. It's fun to try new techniques (well, new for me).

Personality: Introverted, patient, easily worried, practical, obedient, quiet.
Background: Everyone knows her as Quinn's sister. She's the untalkative underachiever that finds pleasure in simple things like wiping tables until they shine or descaling a fish properly. She has no remarkable goals or ambitions. Even Leilani's surprised by the sound of her own voice from time to time. Currently she works at her family's small grocery store minding the till, stocking shelves, and cleaning food. Normally customer service goes to Quinn. Leilani got caught up in the unpleasant business of travelling the world when Setheryll asked for her help in finding her little sister. She soon finds one backpack and a change of clothes is actually not enough when crossing the ocean, but it's far too late to think about things like that now.

Notes: Lei actually doesn't own travel clothes, so she put on everything wearable in hopes of keeping warm and dry along the way. She does have a nice coat and scarf she recieved for her 19th birthday- because everyone ought to have something nice. So of course, everything looks like a mishmash of last night's dinner.

Species: Nymph

Gender: Female

Personality: Confident, cheerful, playful, determined, a smile is better than looking like a drip.

Background: Seneca was educated to be an assasin (poisoner, little knives), but she's never been able to off anyone in her life. She finds the entire business unpleasant, and retired before she even got properly started. Currently works as a bylaw officer investigating property violations. Fences that are too high, neighbours that have planted statues of themselves on other people's lawns, and the like.

Setheryll - dragon form

Character notes:

Physical:
- Those fish move around, they do not have to be attached to his mane, though that's where they usually hang out.
- The fish may also change colours.
- Setheryll swims by scattering into a large school of fish- he cannot breathe underwater, unless he's doing the fish thing.
- As always, his length and proportions are not important to me- whatever feels comfortable is fine.
-He's a dragon based on fish and old man. Fins and whatnot are all over the place.
-There are six horns in total- five of which you can see in the picture. Two curled, two straight ones facing up, two straight ones facing down.
-In polluted areas, dragon-Seth will automatically absorb toxins. If he remains in the area too long, he'll start oozing black sludge from his eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and scales. It makes him sick to his stomach- and when he reverts to human form, he'll have gastrointestinal issues for a week. It's messy.

History:
Setheryll grew up as a kind of devoted child servant to a very influential family. For most of his childhood, Seth served the dragon boy Elixares, who was roughly the same age. Both boys strove to find their dragon forms together, Elixares helping Seth achieve his.

In a desperate choice, Seth chose to save his own skin over Elix's when the two were in very grave danger. While Elix's family did not persecute Seth over his choice, they had little to do with him afterwards- Seth's family scraped together what they had and sent Seth to Altamira, the university-state island, where he studied classic literature among other pursuits. Seth never really left school in the end, and was offered the post of a professor in classic mythology. He took the post, and strangely enough, began maximizing his vacation and field study hours. In his travels he began to understand the incomplete nature of the world, and became involved with a plan to immunize its inhabitants against a deadly threat- which succeeded and failed simultaneously.

Seth keeps everything in his poisonous mind to himself, never sharing or letting go a secret. He smiles easily enough, and enjoys the company of his students who consider him somewhat of an oddball. Life is comfortable, for now.
